STEPS is absolutely thrilled to launch a 24-hour cycle challenge - RIDE & SHINE - to raise money for the Spinal Injuries Association.

We have pulled together a team of supporters, friends and colleagues who will be taking it in turns to ride on exercise bikes continuously for 24 hours starting at 11am on 24th May 2018.

Our very special guest will be Rev. Kate Bottley from Channel 4's Gogglebox and BBC Songs of Praise, who has kindly agreed to lend her support by blowing the starters whistle!

Star rider is the incredible David Collings. David suffered a brain stem stroke in 2016 which left him with Locked In Syndrome and after intensive physiotherapy at STEPS he is starting to emerge from the condition. He will be using a specialist MOTOmed bike to complete his personal 80 day cycle challenge, which will see him cycle 2 hours every day for 80 days.
