We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for 'The Innovation Award' at the Sheffield Business Awards.
Our state-of-the art, purpose built facility is devoted to developing human potential, following life-changing injures.
We opened our doors in May 2017, and provide residential and day rehabilitation, delivering intensive and ongoing rehabilitation for clients recovering from traumatic brain injury, strokes and complex trauma injuries.
The facility is unique to Sheffield, and one of only a small number within the UK. It boasts 23 spacious bedrooms, a large gym, hydrotherapy pool, skills kitchen, games room, café, hairdressers and music room. As part of our innovative approach there is an independent living apartment at the facility which enables clients to transition from fully-supported care to trialling independent living, whilst still having access to support if needed. This is unique to STEPS and provides clients with access to a complete care pathway.
Packages of care are tailored to each client, enabling a bespoke and flexible approach to every rehabilitation journey.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield, on 29th November 2018.
